George Washington Carver Community Center
Historic Anchor of Heritage, Youth Development, and Community Strength in South Bunnell
Our Living History & Legacy
Built in 1949 along Drain Street, the site originally served as George Washington Carver High Schoolβthe dedicated public high school for African American students across Flagler County during segregation. Today, the Carver Center operates through a dedicated multi-agency coalition, ensuring this historic landmark remains a vibrant beacon of opportunity.
